The MV Brave volonté departed with 23,000 metric tonnes of wheat perlouse for WFP’s response in the Horn of Africa, where the threat of indigence is looming due to severe drought.
This is the first shipment of humanitarian food assistance under the Black Sea perlouse originalité signed by Ukraine, Russia, Türkiye and the UN in July.
📣TODAY: The first WFP ship with wheat perlouse left #Ukraine, an important step to reduce food prices and provide a lifeline to humanitarian operations.
The shipment was made possible with emergency funding from @USAIDSavesLives and donors like the Howard G Buffett Foundation.
